Christmas is seriously right around the corner! Thankful I have all my shopping done, but feeling so broke now. Money, money, money......lol Time to pay off that damn line of credit! Luckily I don't live in the city where wallets do not get to rest. Jumped on the elf on the shelf band wagon. I think I was just as excited as the kids to start, but no into day 6 and already had to move the elf this morning because I was too tired last night. lol

I haven't been on here for awhile and thought I posted my 1 year post baby #2 blog last year after our Mexico trip, buuuuut........apparently I didn't. Whoops! So here it is a whole yr late lol plus the here and now.
After having Rixi I stayed active and hard not to with 2 under 2 at that time. I lost most of my baby weight and toned back up again mainly from these forms of exercise: walking/jogging with the stroller, Kangoo, and at home workout apps such as 8fit, runtastic results, and daily workout apps. The heavy hitter in trimming me down was doing 5 weeks of the hammer and chisel program. I did the workouts starting at 5 weeks pp and never missed a workout until week 6 where I fell off the wagon and quit, never finished the full 8 week program nor did I follow the eating plan. I am hoping once my kids are in school to try the program again. It is seriously so hard to workout like a beast with children and being at the their beck and call all day. How many workouts I end up half assing or quitting because this one needs something or they are fighting etc. I don't enjoy my workouts anymore because of this and cannot afford the gym or babysitter. Plus one kid doesn't nap anymore, so nap times are even off limits. I manage to get my workouts in most weeks depending how the days go and where I am mentally. Some days I am motivated and kick butt, then I have weeks where I lose my mojo. Up down up down. Lately I have been using our stairs to workout, that way I can get a good workout in and still see what the kids are doing in the living room. It works well for me also the fact that they aren't under my feet this way. Trying to workout in the living room with them is pointless as I am avoiding stomping on them the whole time lol. I think my biggest suggestion for any new mom or moms who been there done that is to try and drink water through the day opposed to juices and sodas. Help flush out the bad. I know all about limited time so my next suggestion is seriously trying out the apps I reviewed here on my blog, esp runtastic results and my favorite "daily workout" apps. If the days are busy you can feel somewhat accomplished by at least getting 5-10 minutes in a day to tone and feel better about yourself. I know I am happier when I get some kind of workout in, esp since I don't do the diet thing. My next fitness journey I plan on adding to my resume is becoming a piloxing instructor if I can get the training close to me in the next year. Fingers crossed it is a success. Kangoo was fun and I had a good run but the boots can be intimidating to some, stopping them from ever trying the classes, even though they aren't as scary as they look. Also, another thing that made hosting Kangoo difficult was the limited number of boots per size, so limited my class numbers or for people to attend if there weren't enough sizes left for their friends to join too. Hopefully piloxing will be better as more people can join per class and it is less intimidating for new comers. If you ever have questions shoot me a msg or comment and I would be happy to talk to you :) Attached is my 1 yr postpartum pics after baby #2 and the now So missed the 10 month blog post and its closer to 11 months so here i am. :) Life is hectic with the 2 littles, my kangoo classes and home life. Even more hectic getting my nursing license back in order for december. Look forward to going back to work as I need the money and actually love what i do ❤
I have been maintaining my weight (135.3lbs today) and staying active as much as i can. Some weeks are definitely better than others...My energy levels sway and all depends on my mood. Some days are F it days lol and some are give it a go days. Lately ive been trying to stay more motivated so i feel confident and sexy for our beach vacation coming up! (i hate the sound of pets licking themselves!!! (as i am writing this)) lol Because of financial stability and being that i parent alone half the time, i think our baby making doors are closing. 1 of me and 2 of them is enough, so they can get as much of my love and time as possible. Hope you have a wonderful month! Thanks for the continued support and interest in my story! Lets keep building eachother up. It is not easy being a mom, but we all go at our own pace. Doesnt matter where you are in the race, just matters that you finish. 💪 beauty and strength come in all forms! 9 months pp and time will not stop flying by. I am crazy busy all the time. Its true when they say it seems like moms get nothing done. I get a million things done but my to do list keep growing. Alot harder keeping a float some days without the hubby home to help with the kids, but then again sometimes I get more done when he is gone to work (less messes to continually clean...)
So i am generally maintaining my weight at 135-137lb, depending where i am in my cycle. And small milestone reached, i can it into size 27 jeans again!!!! My high school size (although the brand of jean all determines this). My goal to be ripped for our vacation in nov i think is unmanagable as i am so tired and busy that i really dont have the time i need to get a proper workout in. Really only getting 10-20minute workouts in here and there and not every day. Started kangoo again so that will help as long as business is good. ME TIME? WHATS THAT? Kids are healthy and happy, so im at least not exhausted for nothing, and the house could look alot worse. Small victories! Most recent tummy pic (flexed with my kangoo boots) and not bloated. I am sooooo bloated right now lol like 3 months pregnant bloated lol the joys of the cycle.... Hope you have a great week!!! If you are on your post partum fitness journey, remember results take time and you are capable of anything you really want. Just need determination and hard work, one step at a time! Here i am at 7 months pp. And so far so good. Some days are harder than others, but you just breathe in and breathe out. Two littles soak up ALL my time, esp with the hubbys work schedule. Im tired all the time. Will be better once baby girl is in her own room.
So i have reached my goal weight and thensome. Fluctaute between 134lbs and my goal weight of 136lbs, all depends on how the plumbing is working that day lol, i know, tmi. Haha. Been struggling keeping motivated to workout as its hard for me to enjoy like i use to with kids. Workouts are hard to do when your interuppted through them. In order to get my workouts in i have been using the app 8fit pro and jogging. Jogging works as the double stroller makes it doable and the kids are usually pretty good. The app is great for moms who have littles as you do not need equiptment and they range from 7-20 minutes so easier to actually get them done without stopping. I will write a full review later. Now i am focusing on toning and building my booty. Now what you all are here for :) Stats!!! Waist: 28" (.5 less than with 1st at this mark) Hips: 36". (1" less) Thighs: 21". (.5 less) Weight: 134-136lbs (5lbs less) Until next time, have a good month peeps!!! Here we are at 22 weeks pp. Almost the half way mark. I havent been able to workout like i would like but still seeing progress by being active when i can and not eating like a pig.....all the time lol Back into kangoo for 3 sessions at the school this month. No motivation to do it due to getting babysitters and feel like i have no time, but once i actually do it and get into it there is no stopping me. I feel accomplished and happy. Also doing a 8km mud run tomorrow...scared poopless lol never did one and unable to train like i would have liked. See how it goes...
Baby girl is growing like a weed. Nice healthy little baby. Nearly as big as her 2 year old brother lol will give him a run for his money anyways lol. The fun begins. He is still being a very good big brother sharing, and consoling her when she cries. 22 WEEK STATS HIPS: 35.5 (⬇1 inch since 14 weeks) WAIST: 28 (⬇.5 since 14 weeks) WEIGHT: 137lbs (⬇4lbs since 14 weeks) 1 MORE LB TILL GOAL WEIGHT!!!!!! Hello everyone. :) been awhile since i have updated anything. So far my fitness journey and getting me back is chugging along faster than it did with braxman. Tummy is trimming down much faster and the awesome thing is i eat whatever i want. I do plan on cleaning up my diet once i am done breastfeeding.
Current Stats: WEIGHT: 141lbs ⬇ 7lbs from 5w pp WAIST: 28.5 ⬇ 2inches from 5w pp HIPS: 36.5 ⬇ 1.5 inches from 5w pp THIGHS: 22 the same but toned. (with brax my stats at 16 weeks were: 147lbs, waist 34 and hips 39) so much better this time. 5 more lbs to go!!!!!!! So been crazy busy with the life of a mom of two under two lol and a little late with this post. Will have to write my 2 month pp blog soon lol.
Life has been hectic, and I knew it wasnt going to be easy having my monkeys so close together, but it's short term. Just tell myself eventually it will get easier. The hardest part is when they are both crying for me and I have to pick one over the other first. My days are the longest when my little man decides to have a cranky day and throws his tantrums. Hard to deal with when you are exclusivly breastfeeding. My day and mood all depends on how much sleep I got that night and how Braxtyn is acting. Especially hard because my hubby is gone A week at a time for work so I am basically a single mom half the year...which sucks. Very thankful that I have great friends and a Mom and SIL that give me a hand once in awhile. Like they say, it takes a village to raise a family. Baby girl is a good little baby and we are very blessed. So, I started beach body's Hammer and Chisel program on Monday, and so far I LOVE it. It is challenging and has good variety, which is key for me as I get bored with my workouts easily. I took my starting stats and look forward to seeing my results at the 30 day mark and the final measurements at the 60 day mark. Only thing is I am not doing the diet part as I do not want to alter my diet until after I am done breastfeeding. Only thing I am doing for my diet is making healthier choices and cutting out chocolate to once a week as I use to have it every night.....cough cough guilty pleasure...lol Hopefully I still see results. (GET RID OF THESE LOVE HANDLES!) STATS Bust: 36b Waist: 30.5 4" less than after Brax Hips: 38 2" less than after Brax Thighs: 22 Will write a full hammer and chisel review when I am done the program. :) Look forward to updating all of you on my progress. week one is done. Day two of no help here at home. Made it home in one piece yesterday after taking both kids to our doc app and shopping alone. Hubby is back to work so I am solo for 12 days. I am one tired mama.
It is not easy having 2 under 2, esp if your trying to exclusively breastfeed your newborn... and esp esp if she is cluster feeding. Feel like a bad mom when life seems to just mush together. Do not feel like I am spending proper quality time with my toddler and feel like I am rushing baby girl through her feeds. When they are both crying it's so hard to choose which needs me more. I feel like I am always correcting my toddler to stop misbehaving or to be gentle by the baby. Very active little boy. So hard doing it alone. Feel like she is always on the boob and he always needs my attention. No win win at this stage. Things are not going to get easier until she is off the boob. 6 months of tears from all three of us. Just keep telling myself, "it WILL get easier".......and don't even get me started on the too many pets we have. 2 under 2 plus 3 dogs and a cat.... So thankful for my Mom for breaks to help with my sanity. And for nap time. Only time I get in the day to breath and re group. I wish I had more patience. Not my strong suit. Thankful when my hubby is home too. At least I can sleep longer in the am as he gets up with little man. Just wish he was home more right now. He is going on a ski trip as soon as he is back from camp for 3 nights so even more time alone as a single parent.... Sorry for the rant. 2 under 2 is not easy, but I know in the long run it will get easier and worth it. Thank you for continuing to follow my journey and for your support. ❤ So it is officially two weeks since Rixi was born this Sunday. Crazy how fast time is going by. Even though it has only been two weeks, I feel like we had her here longer. Love our baby girl so much and her brother has been really good with her.
