Not Dr diagnosed but I'm quite confident what I got is PUPPP. Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy. Most women if they get it get it in the third trimester, but some women get it after, lucky me.....Long story short, it's an incredibly itchy rash that starts on the stretch marks and spreads over the entire body. Mine started 1 Week pp on my belly stretch marks mild then spread to the rest of my stretch marks (hips, thighs, bum, and breasts) and now my arms, legs, feet and palms. Horrible itchy hives everywhere that cannot be helped. I tried aveeno, gold bond, hydrocortisone, benadryl, claritin, baking soda rub and lemon water with no results nor ease of itch. The only thing that has been helping keep me slightly sane is ice cold showers and ice packs and well as the least recommended scratching. The rash is slightly going away but still sooooo itchy!!!! Can't wait till it's gone so I can start to fully enjoy being a mom.
Measurments
Hips. 40"
Waist. 35" down .5
Weight. 155lbs. 17lbs to go to pre pregnancy weight.
The first pic is of my puppp rash and how horrible it was 2 days ago.
Second pic is of my 4 week pp belly taken today and the rash is starting to look better. (fingers crossed)
Third pic is of my pre pregnancy belly and my 4 week pp belly. Seeing these side by side makes me feel hopeful and happy. Once this rash is gone and I can start working out (exercise makes the flare ups worse) then it shouldn't be too long getting me back besides my new found tiger stripes.
