A good time for introductions :) My name is Mandi and I am currently 7 months pregnant. I am married and have been with my hubby for 9 years this July. I work as a LPN in an acute care ward, which helped me stay in shape prior to the baby bump. I wanted to make a blog on my journey through pregnancy and staying fit as well as updates on my post pregnancy journey to get my body back.
I think most women are eager to get their bodies back after pregnancy and I know i enjoy reading other women's blogs on this subject so hope I can inspire and motivate others with my life as well.
I was moderately active prior to pregnancy and never dieted. Food is too good to totally cut out for me, lol. I mostly did cardio with some toning exercises and tried to eat healthy, but not avoiding treats altogether. So being moderately active I would try to jog 4km at least twice a week in the summer using Adidas micoach, but wasn't religious about it. For toning I would do ab exercises using the daily ab workout app for my HTC One as well as the daily butt workout app. These apps were easy to use because you can set it for 5 min workouts, and who doesn't have 5 minutes to devote to their abs and butt, lol. All in all it kept me toned and healthy. I was real active as a kid and did sports in high school so I never struggled with my weight and was always fit. Now my real journey begins..... Below is a picture of my belly pre-pregnancy, which I really hope I can achieve again.
