Hello everyone :) so my little man is here!!!! :) So crazy madly in love! :) Came in weighing 6.2lbs.
Monday, June 2, at my prenatal checkup I was already 2 cm dilated and soft. The doctor said that it would be any day to have the baby. Went back in that thrusday and still the same. They called me in Friday, June 6th to be induced because he was measuring small for 39 weeks. They started cervidil at 530pm, and my contractions got stronger. Three hrs in there were no breaks between contractions so they took the cervidil out. I rested over night and at 9 am I was 4cm dilated so they broke my waters. Contractions came strong and hard and by 130 pm I was fully dilated. I pushed for 2 hrs which was brutal because I was so exhausted and didn't think he was ever coming out. lol At 326pm my little Braxtyn was here.
The Dr that I had through the delivery was wonderful. Very patient, kind, and genuine. I'd wish the same care for all women that are having babies. Made all the difference I believe in how well my delivery went as well as my physical self postpartum. Only got one small tear inside which is a relief.
Next day every muscle in my body ached like that of getting run over I would imagine lol 2hrs straight pushing really did me in. It is now 6 days postpartum and I'm just starting to feel less muscle aches. Also still a tad tender where my stitch was, but all in all I'd say I'm doing pretty good for 6 days after the biggest thing I've ever done in life. :) Below is a pic of me and little man about 2 hrs after delivery.
